I pursued counseling so that I can show my community that therapy is for everyone no matter what you look like or where you come from. I want to help people break negative patterns and live healthy lives. I have worked in private practice, CPS, school settings, and eating disorder settings, and I have learned that, even though everyone has different needs, everyone is capable of change through empathy, support, and care. I received a Bachelor’s in Psychology at The University of Houston Clear Lake and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Houston Victoria and I hold an LPC license. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, adolescents and members of the LGBTQ+ community in areas such as stress, depression, anxiety, multicultural issues, transitions, self-esteem, relationship/everyday issues, problem-solving, eating disorders and trauma/PTSD. As a therapist, I am passionate about building a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients and guiding them through the challenges they face. You are the creator of your story and I would be honored to help support you through your journey!
